I must be the luckiest man on the planet!!! I am only 5 foot 7 inches tall & 195 lbs with an athletic build. When reading the reviews I planned on these leggings requiring some augmentation because I was sure they would be to long! But they fit like they were custom made!!! I think this is because I wear them unconventionally having the belt supports covering my ass!!! I wanted to wear them like this because I have a combination of chainmail & plate mail!!! By wearing them like this I get total coverage of my lower body as I have a Demon faced cock piece to protect the family jewels!!! Thank you all for your input & advice to purchase these I am so happy I did!!! One day I will get a rivet gun and turn my chainmail leggings , shirt & coif into a Thousand dollar outfit! What amazes me the most is with full chainmail & Hound skull pig faced Basinet, Gorget, Cuirass, mid thigh plates & plate grieves I am completely agile & I can move way faster than I ever thought possible with all this Steele on my body!!! And I am a 49 year old man dealing with a terminal case of spinal neuropathy & chronic back pain from breaking my back in three places, imagine what a healthy young buck could do! I am so happy it is amazing that just the simple act of covering my own ass has made these leggings fit so perfectly I was expecting to have to remove as much as 4 inches. But I don't have to make any adjustments at all!!! I used to practice mixed martial arts growing up with a father that boxed & 8 uncles that were into everything I was practicing mixed martail arts in the 70's & even in full armor I can execute just about any move imaginable, except moves that my condition limits me from doing which is no fault of the armor. I have to be careful not to worsen my condition, exercising is even risky but my wife is ever watchful! L.O.L. I started practicing European weapons systems when all the old fight manuals were rediscovered & saw immediately that the Europeans were using Ju Jitsu, Judo, Maui Thai, Karate & many other martial arts that were believed to come from Asian sources! Not to mention American Wrestling & if you don't consider that a martial arts form you've never seen a man put in a fireman's carry and had his head slammed on the Bar Room floor! And true swordsmanship with the long sword is so far removed from Olympic fencing its not even funny! When you add in the use of weapons like the sword & spear along with the extremely complex fighting systems that came out of Medieval Europe your looking at a life times worth of extremely dedicated work to become a good swordsman!!! I wish I could work out without having to worry about accelerating my condition! But my kids are gonna inherit some kickass armor when I croak!!! And as my condition worsens at least I can teach!!!!
