The pants worked great for MTB'ing on a rather cool October morning. Two wishes though. I wish they were about an inch or two longer or could be ordered in Long and they need to breathe outward. After a few hours of MTB riding, they built up sweat inside and started damp. Legs totally started warm but the moisture couldn't get out either. Should be really good for even colder riding on bit the MTB and road bike. The XL fits great and I'm a 38" waist.Just wanted to make sure no one makes the mistake I made.I am 6' 2" tall and about 210lbs. Neither the large nor the X large is long enough. Other than that the pants are very well made. These pants are great but they don't run true to size, they are smaller. This sports apparel craze of 0% body fat as "true" sizes is just weird.Very warm pants. Will be nice for cold South Dakota winters. Still haven’t worn them on my bike. Hoping they don’t catch on the chain like all other pants I have worn. They it fine. The Pros: These pants seem to be made pretty well overall. It's not close to Adidas quality (random thread ends and uneven cuts throughout internal stitching) but the outer material was decent enough for me. There's a pretty thin layer of fleece underneath in neat vertical lines, which really helps with the cold and comfortability. The outside feels like a rubberized nylon shell and it's fantastic repelling water. I also love that I can take my dog out for a walk in cold rain, winds, or snow and afterwards rinse any mud or dirt off with a hose. It looks great too, but it's the kind of material that gets lighter when stretched out. The directions say not to use a dryer with it, only line dry. Not a great sign, but I'll go along with it. Side pockets actually have nice warm fuzzy material. I'd almost prefer mesh to help with venting, but the fuzzy material feels nice in cold weather. There is one thing that needs to be addressed: breathability. There is ZERO venting. And no, the side pockets don't provide that whatsoever (nor should they). If you get warm, expect it to get swampy and a bit gross (imagine 90's all-nylon workout pants)Summary: if you're out for a light stroll/dog walk in up to 40-ish degree (F) weather or riding a bicycle in the cold rain, snow, or cold wind- this will be perfect. And you'll love the functionality. If you're working out indoors or think you'll get warm, grab something else. The best part about this product is that it actually can pass for normal dress pants if you wear it around the city. Well, if someone looks closely they could notice the reflective parts, but for the most part they don't have weird colors and ugly logos. It is actually extremely hard to find performance clothing without a bunch of weird colors or logos on it. They fit very well and are as comfortable as my diesel Jogg jeans to wear. On top of that, the zipped pockets are extremely convenient, it is much much better to have zipper pockets versus regular pockets. And yet they don't scream 'weird zipper pockets', it is difficult to notice. As far as actual performance goes, I was out in 42 degree weather the other day with a warm puffer jacket on, and my legs were definitely cold. These pants are much better than regular pants, but don't think you can be warm just using these pants in these kind of temperatures. I still wish for a super warm pair of pants that can pass for normal pants. This is the closest I have found so far.I really like the black camo design and the fit is very comfortable. I'm 5'11" w a 34" waist and the large fits perfectly. I used these for cycling once and was shocked at how warm these are. They're windproof, don't breathe at all, and are fleece-lined. As I began climbing my legs felt like they were in a sauna. After two miles of uphill my entire lower body was drenched and it was only 62 degrees outside. These might be better for a light workout in the gym. I wouldn't recommend hiking or cycling in these unless it's about 40 degrees outside.Fits well, and very well made. Looks really nice, and very nice detailing I got the newer style. Medium. I normally wear 34w and 31L ( 5’-9”) with muscular thick legs. These fit perfect.. though on the tight side, but stretching after the first wear. I wear M sweat-pants, so these are true to US size. They could be a bit higher in the back, as cycling pants... for these ride more on the hips on me. My only concern is that I sweat in them... so far, mostly on the front... Only had one short ride in 30f weather. The back is more breathable... the front to me is like a plastic bag. Sure it is wind proof... but also not at all breathable. Will need to test it out a few longer rides, in various temps... but basically you have to reverse them and hang them to dry even after a short ride. They are keepers... but if sweating keeps being a problem, I might need to punch a few dozen needle holes in the front, just to make them more breathable.Update. After a few weeks, I got to really like the pants. Still not breathable enough for me... and not something I would lounge around in at home, but but for biking outside, in 32-45f weather ( so far), really great. I do not bike in the rain... so never cared about waterproofing... but the front is windproof, and the back does breath more. They could use more room in the crotch... these are a bit too unisex for me, but material stretches, and they do look great.Incorrect sizing which is now standard error for amazon and e-bay.Bought with the purpose of winter cycling (London), to keep me warm and ideally dry as it's non stop raining at the moment (2021-01)The 38-41 size just fits and I am an easy 38. Feels like skinny jeans lol.FEATURESVery pleasant smooth gentle feel to the material . Stretches a little bit which is comfy when cycling. Should resist a smash. The inside is lined with fleece which gives it a comfy warm feel. Suggest you turn them inside out to dry the perspiration after use if you are not washing them.Zipped pockets small and possibly not of much use as the trousers are already tight. The zip pull is also too small and not of much use with gloves in winter. The cut is good, I am just under 6ft and the back covers the back nicely although it could be a touch higher. The inner leg is perfect but could possibly be any extra inch. The waste cord is useful to keep the trousers up, in addition the wide stretch band around the waste already does most of the job. The zipped bottoms are also good for a tight fit around the ankles and avoid the chain catching the materialPERFROMANCENot sure how long it will remain water-resistant or how many washes they'll resist but the material is fine for drizzly days. Not waterproof, got soaked after 30 minutes walk in the rain. Perhaps the seams are the weak point. Not quick drying either as they soak in a lot of water easily.Still to be tested so will keep updating (2021-02)I bought these to cycle in winter. I'm amazed how they are warm, completely wind resistant, water resistant and they don't actually make me sweat. Because they breathe so well I was actually scared to use them outside cos they just don't give you the sense that you will stay warm. But they really do protect you, it's awesome. My only complaint is that I would love it if they were just a few centimeters longer. I'm 184cm and when I cycle they expose my ankles a bit, but otherwise they rockI was really surprised at the quality of these trousers given the very low price. They are comfortable, warm (too warm) and the size fit is exactly what is advertised. They have very generous zip pockets and the outer surface is that shiny wipe clean material. They are a reasonably relaxed fit and if you prefer the tighter look there are zips at the leg bottoms that make them a really snug fit.Fit was fine and feel good quality. Have just used them on a cold (2 degrees C) ride through wet and mud, most of which has not stuck, so that's good! Only downside is they're slightly too warm and I suspect they won't be much use other than in the coldest of conditions.Happy with these, but not bowled over. They are very warm, nice fleece lining, perfect for a winter MTB ride, however they aren’t breathable. So when you stop, the moisture stays trapped. Fine if you’re pretty much straight in the shower afterwards, but not great if you don’t change out of them after a beasting it.
