DAYOUNG Bootcut Yoga Pants for Women - High Waist Tummy Control Workout Pants for Gym & Lounge

I originally came across these being reviewed on YouTube in a video about travel outfits. My husband and I are going to Europe in June, and I was looking for a nice pair of comfortable travel pants that could be dressed up or worn casually. I always read reviews for my height and weight - but especially weight. I find the reviews to be all over the map when it comes to accuracy for my height and weight. For this review, note that I am 5'7" tall and currently weight about 195 lbs. I can wear a size 12 in AE Super High Waisted Jeggings, and all of my size 14 shorts from last summer from Gap and Loft are very loose if that helps with sizing. I am 56 years old. Although my weight is 195, it's evenly distributed so I am not really overly large in any one area. I have somewhat of an athletic build, with a longer torso than legs. I would say my mid-section is what I am most self conscious about. I had two C-sections and as I mentioned earlier I am 56 years old - so that's where the self conscious bit comes about my mid section. It is not flat, but not overly protruding either...just a little muffin top. I first ordered these in a large. When they arrived I immediately tried them on. They fit well. The length (31" inseam) was perfect and the bootleg cut was not as wide as some bootleg cuts, which I really liked. The pockets seemed to bulge a little, but it would not cause me to return them. However, I have been losing weight and I thought perhaps a medium would fit a little better. I kept the large pair and ordered a medium pair. The mediums arrived yesterday and I love the fit of them so much better than the large and I think I will be happy that I chose the medium as I continue to lose weight. The pockets don't bulge either. They are going to be perfect for travel - exactly what I was looking for. The medium gives me more tummy control and is overall a better fit for me. I think they will be cute with sneakers, flip flops or sandals or even wedges if I really want to dress them up. I hope this helps. I know it's a bit of a long review, hopefully not with TMI, but I get frustrated sometimes when I'm reading reviews and there's just that one bit of information that I would like that someone left out.
